Picking Stations PDF Print E-mail

Picking Stations

Manual Labour is essential for the removal of unwanted material from the waste stream when other methods of screening cannot be relied upon. A Picking Station is the most effective way for this to be achieved.

Picking stations are essentially conveyor belts configured to allow for the effecting removal of unwanted items, with drop chutes for each material. A picking station will have a feeder/hopper arrangement that, combined with the correct speed of conveyor, will control the presentation of the waste stream, to allow easy picking.

EMS now offers a new range of ergonomically designed Picking Stations and picking lines for the sorting of, and recovery from, various waste streams. Picking stations can be incorporated within the separation system to manually remove residual materials from the process stream. Each picking station is individually designed around the required number of picking conveyors and picking positions.

Our picking stations allow secure and efficient arrangement of waste materials. The Cabins can be built to higher specifications, and include insulation, lighting, heating and ventilation.
