823 Static Trommel

Feed Hopper

• 3m long X 2.2m Wide and is fabricated from 6mm thick steel plate, with a capacity of 4 cubic meters.
• The hopper’s bottom opening has continuous adjustable rubber flashing in contact with the belt feeder.
• The hopper is supported from the feeder chassis and is closed in on its lower sides with steel doors.

Feed Conveyor

• 1372mm wide belt is 4 ply complete with 5mm x 1.5mm covers and a hot vulcanized joint.
• Rugged channel frame supported from the chassis.
• Closely spaced impact bed support the belt. 
• The return idlers are disc-type, non-stick and self-cleaning.
• The drive pulley is lagged.
• The tail pulley is bare faced, complete with protected manual screw take-up adjustment.
• Feeder drive  3KW motor– Variable Speed Control

Drum

• A 2.44 diameter x 7m long Drum.  The inlet and discharge rings are made from 12mm thick steel plate Drum fitted with 40mm punch plates. 
• A fully enclosed chute embraces the lower half of the Trommel and directs the fines materials on to ground stockpile.  This chute has an inclined surface made from 10mm thick U.H.M.W. sheeting with a low co-efficient of friction to reduce material build-up.
• Four large solid rubber tires connected to individual 7.5KW. Electric motors through reduction gear box to drive the Trommel.
• One solid rubber tire provides thrust support for the drum.
• Drum speed  6 - 15 RPM
• Trommel is fitted with variable speed control

Support Structure

• Heavy Duty support structure with suitable bracing to support the 823 Trommel.

Air-Knife Separator

• Air Knife separator is fitted with 5.5kW or 11kW electric motor mounted on a support structure on the end of the conveyor.
• Fully Adjustable Air Knife nozzle.
• Fully Enclosed Hood over drop point to maximise efficiency of separation.
• Lights are directed to lights cage with mesh doors.
